From my perch, high along-side the Liberty Memorial, we can see just the bare beginnings of fall despite the 90° weather here. It reminded me that fall is truly a season to get out there and enjoy the beauty that is Missouri and Kansas here, much to coast people’s surprise.
We’re heading north this weekend to see even more fall, but promise not to talk about the fairyland known as Hibbing, Minnesota in terms of its towering and color-laden landscape.
Instead, we thought we’d prepare you for what’s coming your way if you just step outside. Take a scenic walk in your neighborhood (or pick a new one) or an eyes-really-open car or bike ride.
We’re a bit late with this blog, hope you’ve noticed, but instead of too much blather [which is my wont I (Cutest) know], I’m going to let some of Cute’s pictures in the slides below do my job. (Not the top one with just a speck of color.) I am so often amazed at which trees turn first and why. I did listen in science class about photosynthesis too. But I won’t talk about that.
And Cute will be thrilled that I’m so brief.
